Tim Fischer/Reporter-TelegramTim Fischer/Midland Reporter-TelegramABILENE – Northern Little League was eliminated from the 11-and-under Texas West State Little Tournament following a 2-0 loss to Corpus Christi Oil Belt, Thursday at Kirby Lake Park.Northern squandered a fine pitching performance from Max Martinez, who held Oil Belt to two runs over five innings. It was the second close loss for Northern in the double-elimination tournament after it fell 2-1 to Hewitt Midway during Wednesday's tournament opener.
