LUBBOCK – No. 1-ranked Wylie didn't drop a set in sweeping Lubbock Monterey 19-0 in a District 4-5A tennis match Saturday.Wylie (21-1 overall, 5-0 district) clinched at least a share of the district title with the victory. The Bulldogs wrap up district against Abilene High at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Wylie.'Played pretty well today,' Wylie coach Mark Hathorn said. 'Didn't lose a set. That's tough to do against a good team. Proud of this team's attitude and effort. I feel like we are getting better but have to get ready for Abilene High Tuesday and then start the playoff the next week.
