The Wylie 10-and-younger all-stars were down 6-2 and held to just a hit through 3⅔ innings. Then after Midland Northern's second baseman nearly pulled off a spectacular diving catch that would have ended a 1-2-3 fourth inning, Wylie's bats came alive.Wylie scored four runs in each of its last two at-bats to beat Midland Northern 10-6 in the opener of the Texas West State Little League baseball tournament Friday at the Wylie Little League complex at Kirby Lake Park.'These kids, they fight,' Wylie manager Brandon Lunsford said.
