Linda Anderson Roan, 83, died on Monday, May 29, 2023, at her residence, peacefully in her sleep after battling a lengthy illness. Born in Vernon, Texas to Fred and Juanita Anderson, Linda grew up in Texas City, Texas. Linda attended and graduated from Texas City High School where she was a drum major for the Stingray Marching Band. She attended the University of Texas in Austin. She moved to Galveston, Texas and worked in the medical field. It was here that she met the love of her life, Wylie.
